Its always fun playing with new toys!

Well starting today and every Monday for the next 6 months  I will be posting creations featuring the lovely designs of Chi Chi Memories Stamps.  I was delighted to be approached to join this team and the chance to showcase their newest creations.  I hope you will join me every Monday to see what I come up with... it should be fun.  Also make sure you head over to the Chi Chi Memories Store and Blog to grab some of your own images so you can play along with the challenges..or just for fun!

Todays card features the adorable Winter Shy Girl  ... she reminded me so much f my daughter playing Peek-a-Boo that I decided to use her to create a Peek-a-Boo Birthday card.  I know it says Winter but really the image could be used for any season.

Winter Shy Girl was printed on Curious Mettalics Cryogen White Paper and colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

Colors Used:
Skin: E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, R20,
Hair: E29, E97, E99, E95,
Clothes: C1, C2, C3, C00, C5, G21, G40, G43, G46, BV00, BV02, BV23

The papers used are from the BoBunny Avalance Collections as well as the Prima Marketing Princess Collection.  They are mounted on BoBunny Double dot Vintage Cardstock in Chocolate.

The embellishments are metal snowlakes from Maya Road, metal circle from Prima Marketings, purple jewel from and older Pink Paislee  line. lace and cheesecloth scraps from my scrap bin. And the small crystal beads on wire are actually from one of my broken Christmas Decorations.  A two year old decided they would look better pulled apart ... and I could not through them out when they could be reused.

If you look closely on the side view you can see part of the interior message which states  "I see you. Happy Birthday!"   Sorry I didn't take an interior photo and it is very dark and COLD here now so difficult to get a nice interior shot.

I hope you enjoyed this card and look forward to showing you some other creations this week!

As always I look forward to hearing from you ...comments...suggestions... requests!!!

Happy Crafting!

Happy New Year!!!...and a fond farewell!

Well starting off 2015 with some happy and some sadness.   As of the 1st my term with Tiddly Inks Stamps ended....but hopefully I will have the chance to go back  someday. ( There is a Design Team call on right now....hint hint....) .  Christy and the entire Design Team were amazing! They treated me like family and were so suportive and inspiring I can not express in words how much I love these ladies!

Now I have created something special to mark the occasion but since I don't want Christy to see it before it arrive I will have to wait for a later time to share it with you.

In the meantime though I am also excited to announce that I was approached to be a member of the Chi Chi Memories Design Team so you will be seeing my work just as often .  I can't wait to show you what I have been creating . Mark your calenders for Monday Jan. 5th !!  But in the meantime make sure you check out the Chi Chi Memories store and blog to see all the wonderful creations and get prepared to craft along with us!

In the meantime since I can not show you quite yet what I have been creating for Chi Chi Memories I though I would show you one of the cards I made on New Years Eve.

I love La La Land stamps

( I gifted my self a club subscription for Christmas..Kids and hubby forgot me so what else is a girl to do...lol)  but I have been so busy I have not had a chance to play with them. So here is my take on Bumble Bee Marci  I grabbed her in digital format but she is available in both.

The papers used are from the Graphic 45 Secret Garden Collection and the Prima Marketing Princess Collection.  The Cardstock for mounting is BoBunny Vintage Double Dot in Chocolate. I chose to leave off the sentiment for now as I am unsure what it will be used for at this point. But I will added in the small "Secret Garden" to the left of Marci.

Embellishments used are K and Company  3 Dimensional layered stickers ( they are about 10 years old so not sure you could find them anymore).   The buttons, "Sweet" and metal bee are from my random bling stash. The flower ribbon is Tim Holtz and the lace, pearl string,  and cheesecloth are from my scraps bin.  The trim in the interior of the card is Prima and the stickers are K and Company, Everything has been accented with Star Dust Stickles by Ranger.

Marci is colored using Copics:
 Skin: E000, E00,E04, E11,  E21, R20, RV21, RV55
Hair: E31, E33, E35, E37, E79, C5
Dress/Shoes: C3, C5, V20, V22, V25, BV23, BV25, BV29, C10
Wings: BGO1, BG10, BG15, C5
Flowers: V01, V06, V09, YG11, YG06, YG09

I hope you enjoy my card and I look forward to sharing more with you in 2015!

Card Swap time!!!!!!!!

Ok so this Fab Friday is a card I made for a swap using one of my favorite Tiddly Inks Images .... Skater Wryn!!!

Now I am not going to tell you which swap or  who it is for because SHE has not received it yet!!!! Canada Post and I are  in a love hate relationship this Christmas...... I am hoping it makes it across the border to its final destination along with the goodies I sent!

So until it gets there I am keeping hush on the inside of the card and the goodies just in case she happens to  stumble across this!!!

The papers used for the card are from the MME Joyous  paper pad, and they are mated on Bazzil Chocolate brown cardstock.  The Sentiment is from Stampin Up. The BLing is from the Dollar Store with the exception of the small rhinestones which are by Hot Fix.

Wryn was printed on Cryogen White Cardstock by Curious Mettalics using my Kodak Inkjet Printer.  She is colored with Copic Sketch Markers.

Winter Blues.....dry your eyes only 5 more months of snow!!!!!!!

Hi Tiddly Inks Fans!! Well Christmas is almost upon us which means that  we have only 5 more moths of winter left here...LOL  I know , I know,,, its still along time but trust me with the over a foot of snow that is currently here to stay and the no doubt several feet to still come we start counting down early! Its like kids in July asking when Christmas is coming. But back on point... Today's theme is Winter Blues - but not sad ones! So I wanted to make a cheerful blue Christmas card using a non traditional image.

My card features Priscilla by Tiddly Inks... she is available individually as well as part of the darling  Steampunk Victorian Beauties.

She is printed on Curious Mettalics Cryogen White Paper using my Kodak Inkjet printer and colored with Copic Sketch Makers.

Colors used: E000, E00, E04, E11, E21, R20, BG01, BG05. BG07. BG09, BV23, BV25, BV29, R46, R59, R89, E18, E79

The papers used for the card are all from my BoBunny Altitude 6 inch paper pad. I am IN LOVE with this collection.  The blue cardstock used is Bazzil Mettalic cardstock...I am not sure of the color as it is fairly old. (SORRY). The Peace on Earth is from my mother Rubber stamp collection so most likely an older Stampin Up Stamp.  The Filgree is from Dusty Attic painted with Tim Holtz Milled Lavender Distress paint. Ther Snowflakes I found last year at out local Dollar Store and just added a bit of sparkle with my Stickles Diamond glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today ..please go over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge Blog and check out the other amazing Design Team creations...and hopefully enter yourself!!!
